Basketball Recap: Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy Drops Season-High Score on HALO

Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 64-49 bruising from the HALO Wolfpack. One positive for Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Trenton Grissom was his usual excellent self, going 16 for 27 on his way to 34 points and seven rebounds for HALO. The matchup was Grissom's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Haynes, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 18 rebounds.

Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for HALO, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Howard at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for HALO, they will look to defend their home court on January 17th against Georgia Force Christian.
