Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denver City). They breezed by the Trinity Chargers to the tune of 98-50 on Saturday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 24 points or more this season.

Denver City's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Trinity, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Denver City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 86-47 loss against Brownfield on the 17th. As for Trinity, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Midland Classical Academy at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
