Football Recap: Ramona Convent Falls to St. Anthony in First Game of Season

Ramona Convent kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 45-0 loss at the hands of the St. Anthony Saints. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Ramona Convent didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chloe Gonzalez and Malia Perez.

St. Anthony has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Ramona Convent is taking a road trip to square off against Covina at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Anthony, they will host Cabrillo at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
