Soccer Recap: St. Edward Finishes Even with Hawken

It was a Battle of the Birds when St. Edward duked it out with Hawken on Monday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time St. Edward have been dealt a draw since September 6th.

Their goal came courtesy of Ethan Clark, who's now up to seven this season.

With that draw, St. Edward's record moves to 4-4-4. Meanwhile, Hawken's record is now 12-1-2.

St. Edward wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against St. Ignatius on the 1st. As for Hawken, they will head out to challenge Beachwood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hawken's defense better be ready for this one: Beachwood have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season.
