Baseball Game Preview: Eastern Musketeers vs. South Central Rebels

The Eastern Musketeers will head out on the road to take on the South Central Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastern comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Monday just wasn't the day for Eastern's offense. They came up short against Charlestown on Monday, falling 11-0.

Meanwhile, South Central didn't have quite enough to beat Lanesville on Tuesday and fell 8-6. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clinton Fouts, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Wyatt Johnson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Eastern couldn't quite finish off South Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 10-8. Can the Musketeers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
