Westlake entered their tilt with Cedar Valley on Friday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They put the hurt on the Aviators with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

Kilika Tafa paced Westlake's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tafa got some help from Keagan Cundiff and his 38 assists. Cundiff also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Parker Swensen, racking up three apiece.

Westlake pushed their record up to 22-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Cedar Valley, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Westlake will take on American Fork at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Cedar Valley, they will square off against Springville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
