Keene Central won the last time they faced Lake Placid, and Vann Morrelli did his part to make sure it happened again. The Keene Central Beavers came out on top against the Lake Placid Bombers by a score of 47-36 on Tuesday thanks in part to Morrelli, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Hyler Isham, who posted two points along with five boards and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Seb Cecunjanin and Kenny Lawrence certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Cecunjanin dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Lawrence earned ten points. That was a full 52.8% of Lake Placid's points, marking the fifth time in a row Cecunjanin has had more than a third of the team's points.

The victory made it two in a row for Keene Central and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Lake Placid, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-14.

Coincidentally, Keene Central and Lake Placid will both be playing Boquet Valley the next time they take the court. Lake Placid will head out to face Boquet Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Keene Central will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 21st.
