Basketball Recap: Heritage's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After losing to Wakefield the last time they met, Heritage decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Heritage Huskies walked away with a 59-52 win over the Wakefield Wolverines on Friday.

Wakefield's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Wisler, who went 6 for 9 en route to 18 points. Another player making a difference was Bishop Dudley, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points and five boards.

Heritage's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9. As for Wakefield, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7.

Heritage will challenge Rolesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rolesville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Heritage likes a good challenge. Wakefield has already played their next matchup, a 77-56 loss against Millbrook on the 25th.
