Baseball Recap: Coronado Takes a Loss

Coronado fell victim to University City and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centurions. The Islanders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for University City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Coronado is set to take on their familiar foe Patrick Henry at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, University City will square off against rival Point Loma at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
