Softball Recap: Covington Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Covington and Gibbs squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Covington had to settle for second. They lost 12-1 to the Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chargers have suffered since April 21st.

With the defeat, Covington broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-13-1. As for Gibbs, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 38-3.
