Basketball Recap: Denver Christian Picks Up 15th Consecutive Win

Denver Christian waltzed into their game on Friday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 57-24 win over the Forge Christian Fury. Given the Thunder's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Fury are ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Denver Christian had a senior duo take command as Kamiree Fuller posted 22 points and three steals and Fabiana Genc earned six points in addition to 16 rebounds and three steals. Fuller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 38 games she's played dating back to last season. Noelani Book was another key player, putting up five points along with eight assists and seven boards.

Denver Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forge Christian only six assists.
