Mercer is a perfect 10-0 against Hurley since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will square off against the Northstars at 6:00 p.m. Mercer is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Mercer's tournament run continued when they took on Spooner on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Rails.

Meanwhile, Hurley didn't have quite enough to beat Mellen on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Northstars have struggled against the Granite Diggers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hurley took Mellen into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-27, 19-25, 15-11.

Mercer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Hurley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Mercer beat Hurley 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Northstars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
