Recap: Cousino Patriots vs. De La Salle Collegiate Pilots
On Friday, Cousino was beaten by De La Salle Collegiate 49-6. Cousino was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.
Brick Sandridge threw for 57 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Daniel Carter rushed for 41 yards.
It was another big night for Sante Gasperoni, who rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 172 yards and a touchdown.
Cousino's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for De La Salle Collegiate, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Cousino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. De La Salle Collegiate will be playing at home against University of Detroit Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. University of Detroit Jesuit is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
