Baseball Recap: North Comes Up Short

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-1 to the Prouty Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Polar Bears of the 11-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Cane, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Cane has brought in this season.

North's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Prouty, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Coincidentally, North and Prouty will both be playing Burncoat the next time they take the field. The Polar Bears will head out to face the Patriots at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
