Volleyball Recap: Saugus Takes a Loss

Saugus lost against Newbury Park on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Centurions fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Saugus' defeat dropped their record down to 25-6. As for Newbury Park, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-8.

Saugus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Crescenta Valley on the 27th. As for Newbury Park, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Bishop Amat on the 27th.
