Soccer Recap: Seventy-First Takes a Loss

Seventy-First was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Jack Britt Buccaneers. While losing is never fun, Seventy-First can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 498th, while Jack Britt are ranked 179th).

Seventy-First's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Jack Britt, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Seventy-First is set to face off against their familiar foe Douglas Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jack Britt will challenge rival Cape Fear at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
