Football Game Preview: Pahokee Blue Devils vs. Glades Central Raiders + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Samuel Arnold and Armaud Stinfort are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Pahokee Blue Devils will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Glades Central Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pahokee is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Legacy 47-0. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Glades Central was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against King's Academy, sneaking past 22-19. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Raiders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Lions are ranked 209th).

A big part of Glades Central's victory came down to the chemistry between Taj Barnes and his top target Algernod Crawford. Barnes threw for 255 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 74.2% of his passes while Crawford picked up 133 receiving yards and two scores. Those 133 receiving yards gave Crawford a new career-high.

Pahokee's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average over those games. As for Glades Central, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
