Softball Game Preview: Columbia Christian Crusaders vs. Spring Hill Bears

The Columbia Christian Crusaders will head out to challenge the Spring Hill Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia Christian has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Columbia Christian's offense. They came up short against Taylor on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Tuesday. Spring Hill lost 13-3 to Bradley. That's two games in a row now that Spring Hill has lost by exactly ten runs.

Spring Hill's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Columbia Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
