Fort Plain came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Oppenheim-Ephratah Hawks by a score of 46-39. The Hilltoppers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

Fort Plain's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Oppenheim-Ephratah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Fort Plain will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Berne-Knox-Westerlo at 7:00 p.m. Fort Plain is on a three-game streak of home wins, Berne-Knox-Westerlo a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
