Providence Grove skates past Trinity with ease

The Providence Grove Patriots's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 62-12 win over Trinity. With that victory, Providence Grove brought their scoring average up to 50.5 points per game.

Providence Grove was led to victory by LAUREL BERNHARDT and JADA NIXON. BERNHARDT scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals, while NIXON scored 14 points. The match was NIXON's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of BROOKE INGRAM, who scored seven points.

Providence Grove's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Trinity, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Grove will face off against Randleman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Randleman will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastern Randolph at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th.
