A well-balanced attack led First Baptist over Live Oak Classical in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the First Baptist Saints blew the Live Oak Classical Falcons out of the water with a 59-30 final score. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 27 points or more this season.

First Baptist had a senior duo take command as Georgia Alford dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds and Meredith Quinn dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Alford's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bella Jacobo-Redding, who posted nine points in addition to five boards and four steals.

First Baptist was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Live Oak Classical only racked up two assists.

Despite the loss, Live Oak Classical saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ashlyn Helton put up seven points along with ten boards and four steals. Those ten boards set a new season-high mark for Helton.

First Baptist's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Live Oak Classical, with the defeat, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-6.

First Baptist and Live Oak Classical's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. First Baptist and Fellowship Academy (who has only given up 27.8 points per game) will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. First Baptist is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.8 points per game this season. Similarly, Live Oak Classical and Providence Prep (who has only given up 29.7 points per game) will meet at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
