Softball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chilton County Tigers.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Chilton County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cleveland will challenge Holly Pond at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cleveland is facing Holly Pond at the right time seeing as Holly Pond is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Chilton County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Chilton County Tigers challenge Pelham Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
