Softball Recap: Walnut Mustangs vs. Katella Knights
Walnut proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 13) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Katella Knights, sneaking past 7-5. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Allisyn Reyes was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Peyton Schilz was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
