Basketball Game Preview: Cody Comets vs. Osborn Knights

Cody and Osborn are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Cody Comets will venture away from home to square off against the Osborn Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cody has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight losses, while Osborn will come in with 13 straight victories.

Last Thursday, Cody took a blow against Western International, falling 66-30.

Meanwhile, Osborn humbled Communication Media Arts with a 58-19 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Osborn pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.4 points per game. As for Cody, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Cody was taken down by Osborn 73-13 in their previous matchup on Monday. Can Cody avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
