Soccer Recap: New Smyrna Beach Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

With a playoff win on the line, New Smyrna Beach rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Seabreeze Sandcrabs out 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Barracudas: when they faced off against the Sandcrabs last Monday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

New Smyrna Beach's one-goal win came courtesy of Alaina Harden, who's now up to 13 this season.

New Smyrna Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4-2 record this season. As for Seabreeze, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8-4.

New Smyrna Beach will challenge Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Innovation is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6 goals per game this season. Seabreeze does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
