Baseball Recap: New Waverly Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for New Waverly's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Dayton Broncos on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

New Waverly now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Dayton, their record now sits at 4-6.

Coming up, New Waverly will challenge Hargrave at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hargrave's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so New Waverly's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dayton, they will square off against Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
