Baseball Game Preview: Kenston Bombers vs. Riverside Beavers

For the second straight game, Kenston will face off against Riverside. The Bombers will square off against the Beavers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Kenston is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They skirted past Riverside 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bombers have posted since May 20, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Grady Flynn, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Joey Artale also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Riverside is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Kenston, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
