West Valley extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 0-8 in the process. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wasilla Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-6 loss on Saturday.

Hudson Wixom made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Those runs marked the first that he has scored this season.

As for Wasilla, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games.
