Basketball Game Preview: Lancaster Red Devils vs. Rappahannock Raiders

Lancaster is 2-8 against Rappahannock since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m.

Lancaster is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell 24-11 to West Point on December 1st.

Meanwhile, Rappahannock was able to grind out a solid victory over Middlesex last Monday, taking the game 43-34. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won eight in a row.

Lancaster didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Rappahannock when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 25-19 victory. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
