Baseball Recap: Oak Harbor Rockets vs. Rossford Bulldogs
Oak Harbor never got on the board in their matchup last Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Rossford on Friday. Everything went their way against the Rossford Bulldogs as they made off with a 10-4 win. For Oak Harbor, this counts as revenge for the 7-4 loss Rossford walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2021.
Brayden Myerholtz made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Myerholtz was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI.
In other batting news, Brayden Butzin was incredible, scoring five runs while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Michael Lalonde, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
