While Reed's win against Elko wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders skirted past the Indians 3-2. Three seems to be a good number for the Raiders as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Kannen Stenberg-Klamut looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luke Goddard, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Reed now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Elko, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Coming up, Reed will head out on the road to face off against Douglas at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elko, they will host Churchill County at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greenwave have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
