Basketball Recap: Rock Island Takes a Loss

Rock Island lost against Moline back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rock Island Rocks took a 64-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moline Maroons.

Rock Island's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Moline, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-13.

When Rock Island and Moline next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Rock Island will take on Galesburg and their three-game winning streak at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Moline will try to stop Sterling's four-game winning streak when the meet at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
