Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Onalaska's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Onalaska not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Tomah Timberwolves with a sharp 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Hilltoppers: when they faced off against the Timberwolves back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10, 25-14.

Onalaska's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mckenzie Bauer, who had 18 digs and two assists. Bauer has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kayla Ketelhut, who had nine digs and four aces.

Onalaska was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tomah only served five.

Onalaska has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Tomah, they dropped their record down to 12-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Onalaska and Tomah will both be playing Holmen the next time they take the court. The Timberwolves will host the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hilltoppers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
