Softball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Howell

The Howell Rebels made easy work of the Central Regional Golden Eagles on Wednesday and carried off a 14-4 victory. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

Howell's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Central Regional, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Howell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-4 loss against Wall Township on the 1st. As for Central Regional, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Southern Regional on the 2nd.
