Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gunnison). They never let the Ridgway Demons get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Wednesday. Gunnison haven't had any issues with Ridgway recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Gunnison's offense was hitting Ridgway from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Cesar Marmolejo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Gunnison now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Ridgway, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gunnison will challenge Crested Butte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gunnison's defense better be ready for this one: Crested Butte have averaged an impressive 4.6 goals per game this season.
