Demetrius Dowdy, Winder-Barrow's leading rusher, solidified his role on Friday. Dowdy did his part (and then some), rushing for 122 yards and one TD on only ten carries for the 'W'. Dowdy is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 101 every time he's taken the field this season.

Coming up, Dowdy and Winder-Barrow will venture away from home to square off against Habersham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Dowdy up against the Raiders' star running back Donnie Warren. Will the game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.
