Soccer Game Preview: Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family vs. Walther Christian Academy

Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Aurora Central Catholic. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walther Christian Academy). They put the hurt on Phoenix Military with a sharp 6-2 win on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Walther Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three games. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Everything went Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family's way against Walther Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family made off with a 9-0 victory.
