There's no place like home for the Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Synergy Magnet K12 35-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Calvary Chapel Academy has posted yet this season.
Kaleb Steiger continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Calvary Chapel Academy's points. Ethan Harvath was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Calvary Chapel Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Synergy Magnet K12, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
