Volleyball Recap: Dublin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dublin couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Amador Valley Dons on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-17, 25-13.

Dublin's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-8. As for Amador Valley, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-10.

Dublin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Amador Valley, they will square off against Las Lomas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Dons surely won't give up without a fight.
