Dominik Makinano put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February of 2024 on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
