Softball Recap: Alta Loma Comes Up Short

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Alta Loma was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 5-2 to the South Hills Huskies.

Alta Loma saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Serrano, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Alta Loma's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for South Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season.

Alta Loma will take on San Dimas at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Hills, they will face off against Bishop Amat at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
