Volleyball Recap: Smoky Mountain Takes a Loss

Smoky Mountain lost against Franklin back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-16.

Leading Franklin to victory were Lass Ward and Anna Stiles. Ward had ten digs and three assists, while Stiles had five digs and two assists. Those five digs gave Stiles a new career-high.

Smoky Mountain now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Franklin, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Smoky Mountain has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against North Henderson on the 11th. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against West Henderson on the 10th.
