While San Clemente's win against Aliso Niguel wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tritons skirted past the Wolverines 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering San Clemente's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Aliso Niguel are ranked 236th).

Cisco Garcia was the driving force of San Clemente's attack as he scored both of San Clemente's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

San Clemente has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record this season. As for Aliso Niguel, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 5-3-2.
