Basketball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 50-34 bruising from the Hokes Bluff Eagles. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-23 two weeks ago.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Hokes Bluff, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Southside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hokes Bluff has already played their next contest (against Sardis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
