Basketball Recap: Johnson City Comes Up Short

Johnson City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 79-30 defeat at the hands of the Goldthwaite Eagles. The contest marked Johnson City's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Johnson City's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Goldthwaite, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Center Point the next time they take the court. Goldthwaite will head out to face Center Point at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Johnson City will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
