Basketball Recap: Arrowhead Skates Past Waukesha North with Ease

Arrowhead won the last time they faced Waukesha North and things went their way on Friday too. The Arrowhead Warhawks really took it to the Waukesha North Northstars for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-42 win. The Warhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Arrowhead to victory were Natalie Kussow and Presly Samz. Kussow went 10 for 17 on her way to 25 points and three steals, while Samz posted eight points in addition to 13 rebounds and five assists. Kussow's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Sidney Zehner was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.

Arrowhead smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

Arrowhead has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Waukesha North, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Arrowhead will take on Catholic Memorial at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Arrowhead has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Waukesha North, they will face off against Oconomowoc at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
