Damar Crimes gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2025 on Monday. Robichaud had no answer to Crimes as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Crimes has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Crimes' strong effort led Thurston over Robichaud and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are 7-2 against the Bulldogs going back to May of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
