Baseball Recap: Sunray Falls Short of New Deal in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sunray can now relate to. They came up short against the New Deal Lions on Thursday, falling 14-2. The Bobcats have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Sunray saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Johnson, who went 3-for-4 with three doubles and one RBI.

Sunray's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for New Deal, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

As of now, neither Sunray nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
