Baseball Recap: Richwood Lumberjacks vs. Meadow Bridge Wildcats        
        
		
            
 Richwood scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They never let the Meadow Bridge Wildcats onto the board and left with  a   24-0  victory. With that  win, Richwood brought their scoring average up to 6.4  runs per game.
  Dakota Sizemore made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Sizemore was even better at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, six  stolen bases,  and four  runs. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last ten times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Jayden Hamon was a standout: he scored four  runs and  stole five bases while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brock Ward, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Richwood and  bumps their season record up to 6-12. As for Meadow Bridge, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richwood will  challenge Montcalm at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Montcalm is on  a three-game streak of home losses, Richwood a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. As for Meadow Bridge, they are on the road again  on Thursday to play Sherman at 6:00  p.m. Meadow Bridge is facing Sherman at the right time seeing as Sherman is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
