Pine-Richland's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Central Catholic Vikings by a score of 6-3. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Drew Boivin looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Anthony Mengine was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Heckert, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Pine-Richland's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Central Catholic, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Coming up, Pine-Richland will face off against Knoch at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Catholic, they will take on South Fayette at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
